Question 1

How much does a home remodel cost in Corona?

Accepted Answer

Home remodeling costs in Corona vary significantly based on scope, materials, and the condition of your existing structure. A focused bathroom remodel might start in the $25,000 to $45,000 range, while a full kitchen remodel commonly lands between $40,000 and $80,000 depending on cabinetry brand, countertop selection, and plumbing fixture choices. Whole-home renovations and ADU additions are larger investments that we scope individually after walking your property. Call (877) 688-9930 for an exact quote on your project, estimates are free and there's no obligation.

Question 2

How long does a typical remodeling project take?

Accepted Answer

Every project gets a detailed schedule before we start, with realistic timelines based on material lead times, permit processing, and the specific scope of your job. A bathroom remodel might run 4 to 6 weeks, while a kitchen remodel often takes 8 to 12 weeks once construction begins. Larger renovations and additions take longer, and we'll tell you exactly what to expect before we sign a contract. Call (877) 688-9930 to discuss your timeline and get a realistic schedule for your specific project.

Question 3

Do you handle permits and inspections?

Accepted Answer

Yes, as a licensed general contractor, Square One Builders pulls permits and coordinates all required inspections with the City of Corona and the surrounding jurisdictions. We handle the paperwork, schedule the inspections, and make sure every phase of the work passes before we move to the next. This is a standard part of our process, not an add-on fee. If you're planning a project that needs permits, call (877) 688-9930 and we'll walk you through what's required.

Question 4

Can you match existing brands and materials in my home?

Accepted Answer

In most cases, yes. Because we work with 50+ brands across roofing, cabinetry, countertops, plumbing fixtures, windows, siding, and more, we can often match existing materials or find a close equivalent. That matters if you're remodeling one bathroom and want it to match the other, or if you're replacing a few windows and want the new ones to match the old ones. We spec the right material for your project, whether that means matching what's there or upgrading to something better. Call (877) 688-9930 and tell us what you're trying to match, we'll tell you what's possible.

Question 5

Are you a specialist or a full-scope general contractor?

Accepted Answer

Square One Builders is a full-scope general contractor, not a single-trade specialist. That means we're accountable for the entire project, from structural work and roofing to cabinetry, countertops, plumbing fixtures, windows, hardscaping, and ADU additions. We don't hand off responsibility to another company when the scope moves from interior to exterior. One contractor, every system, under one contract.

Question 6

What brands do you install for roofing, kitchens, and bathrooms?

Accepted Answer

Our roofing portfolio includes GAF, CertainTeed, and Owens Corning, the three largest U.S. manufacturers. For kitchens and bathrooms, we install cabinetry from KraftMaid and Wellborn, countertops from Cambria, Silestone, and Caesarstone, and plumbing fixtures from Kohler, Moen, Toto, Grohe, Delta, American Standard, and Sterling. We also install Schluter waterproofing systems in showers. If you want a specific brand or need help choosing between options at different price points, call (877) 688-9930 and we'll help you make the right call for your budget.
